You’re Way More Likely to Hate a Restaurant When It’s Raining

Apparently, you shouldn’t Yelp when it’s raining.

A new study out of Ohio State University analyzed whether the weather outside had any effect on restaurant reviews.  And they found when it’s raining, the odds of someone leaving a negative review is 290% higher.

Why does the rain make us hate restaurants?  The researchers say it’s because rain puts us in a bad mood . . . AND puts the staff at the restaurant in a bad mood . . . so that combo is just begging for a negative review.
