Watch: Nats Fan Takes a Baseball to the Chest Rather Than Drop Beers

I don’t even want to know how much two beers cost at the World Series . . . but last night, Washington Nationals fan Jeff Adams was willing to take a baseball to the chest . . . rather than drop the two beers he was holding.

It was a home run hit by Yordan Alvarez of the Houston Astros, and it was coming directly at him.  But he was holding two Bud Lights and didn’t want to sacrifice them.  So, he took the ball to the chest like a CHAMP.

(Here’s the homer, and here’s a clip of Jeff getting hit.  Here’s him talking about it afterward.  He might even get something out of it, because Bud Light is LOVING the publicity.)

The Astros won the game 7-1.

After the Nationals won the first two games in Houston, they dropped all three straight at home.  They’re headed back to Houston for Game Six on Tuesday.

By the way, PRESIDENT TRUMP was there last night, and when they showed him on the scoreboard, he was booed pretty badly, and fans chanted “lock him up!”  (You can find videos, here.)

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred said Trump decided not to throw out the first pitch “in order to make the fan experience as positive as possible.”
