Purdue University blocks TikTok access on their Wi-Fi network

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (ADAMS) – TikTok can no longer be accessed on Purdue University’s Wi-Fi network. The school blocked access to the app Wednesday due to cybersecurity risks and threats to national security.

The ban does not impact students using non-Purdue home or public Wi-Fi or cellular coverage.
