WHITLEY CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced the closure of State Road 14 for a resurfacing project between Whitko Drive and Water Street in South Whitley.
Along with the resurfacing, crews will be working on curbs, drainage structures and sidewalks.
Work is scheduled to begin on or after April 3, with the closure of S.R. 14 expected to last until mid-June.
During the closure, drivers should use the posted detour of State Road 5, State Road 105, State Road 114 and State Road 13, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
