Missing teen girl from DeKalb Co. found

UPDATE: Marissa Thrush was found.  Authorities issued the following message on Wednesday afternoon.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department wishes to thank everyone involved in locating Marissa Thrush.
Marissa Thrush has been found and any further efforts to locate her can be terminated. Thank you.

DEKALB CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a runaway juvenile. 16-year-old Marissa Thrush, of Garrett, IN. Marissa left her residence at about 2:30 am on 6/18/2018. She was said to have left with an unknown person, in an unknown vehicle, with an unknown direction.
Marissa has ties in Kendallville, IN and may be in that area. Police say that Marissa has also made comments in the past about going to Indianapolis.
Marissa is about 5’02” and 140 lbs. She had a left eyebrow piercing at one point. She was attempting to pierce her lip before she went missing. She also has a tattoo of a blue bird on her right thigh.
Anyone who sees Marissa or has any information on her whereabouts is asked to call their local police or the Sheriff’s Department.
