INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The NCAA is pushing a decision on fall championships for another month.
In a statement Friday, President Mark Emmert said he and the Board of Governors will revisit discussions in August.
Amid ongoing coronavirus concerns, he added the health of athletes is the top priority in deciding whether to proceed with the 22 events set to begin in November.
The board has the authority to cancel championships but regular-season games and schedules are up to schools and conferences.
