FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Local residents can live out their HGTV dreams with the help of a new Fort Wayne business. Nailed It DIY Studio is set to open its first location in the state of Indiana at 918 Woodland Plaza Run, Suite 102 in Fort Wayne. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m on Thursday, Aug. 22.
Nailed It DIY Studio helps customers create unique home décor items such as wall art, serving trays, family game pieces, and much more. Patrons can use paint and stencils, or their own custom designs, to transform a piece of wood into a trendy showpiece.
Several types of experiences are available, including date nights, private parties, youth day camps, team-building events, and corporate gatherings. Expert “Art-Tenders” are on staff to guide customers through their projects.
“This is the ultimate DIY experience,” studio owner Pam Miller said. Miller is a Louisville, Ky., native who moved to Fort Wayne, along with her husband, Tom, and their family, about 10 years ago.
Established in Fort Mill, S.C. in 2014, Nailed It DIY Studio has just over a dozen locations—most situated in the southeast and New England. The Fort Wayne location is near the southeast corner of Dupont and Coldwater Roads. All locations are independently owned and operated.
“We are extremely excited to open Indiana’s first Nailed It DIY Studio,” Miller said. “Fort Wayne will love this studio.”
The ribbon-cutting ceremony is open to the public. The full grand opening celebration is slated for Saturday, Aug. 24, from noon-4 p.m. and includes a food truck appearance, a live broadcast by Majic 95.1., door prizes, and gift coupons. Guests can also try their hand at small DIY projects.
