Kroger testing out smart carts

CINCINNATI, Ohio (ADAMS) – Kroger is trying out new smart cart tech that eliminates paying at checkout.

The new KrogGo system is on a trial run in the Cincinnati area.

Shoppers can fill up their carts, which in turn can recognize what’s inside, then a quick swipe of a payment card and it’s out the door.
