INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The first of what will be over 1,300 Indiana National Guardsmen will head to the state’s long-term care facilities on Monday.
Governor Eric Holcomb ordered the troops to nursing homes and other care centers because of the spike in coronavirus cases there. The guardsmen will handle coronavirus testing, tracing, registration, and wellness checks.
