INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Nearly six times more people in Indiana have gotten a coronavirus shot than whoever tested positive for the virus.
On Sunday, the state Department of Health said 4.2 million people have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine.
Since March of last year, just over 722,000 people in the state have tested positive for the virus.
The state says nearly 98-percent of those people fully recovered. Indiana, like other states, is seeing a slowdown in the number of people getting their coronavirus shot. Doctors say they’d like to see more people get vaccinated so the state can get to herd immunity.
