“Gift Wrapping for a Reason” returns to Glenbrook Square

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Starting Friday the 13th until Monday the 23rd, The Rescue Mission will provide gift wrapping services at Glenbrook Square, across from the elevator on the second floor near Carson’s.

While the service is free, donations are encouraged. All proceeds will help support The Rescue Mission’s programs for homeless men, women, and children in the Fort Wayne area.

“We’re excited to provide once again a service like this to the community, a community that is so supportive of The Rescue Mission,” said Laurie Brumbaugh, Chief Development Officer. “People can come in, relax, and let us do the wrapping. Then, if they feel led, they can make a donation to help the men, women, and children served at The Rescue Mission.”

Dates and Hours are as follows:
December 13-15 | Fri. & Sat. 11a-7p, Sun. 1p-6p
December 20-22 | Fri. & Sat. 11a-7p, Sun. 1p-6p
*Bonus Day* Monday, December 23rd: 11a-7p

Organizers say that Gift Wrapping for a Reason requires the help of many volunteers for wrapping, greeting, package and tag preparation, and more – and there are still volunteer shifts available. For more information on volunteering, please send an email to deanna@therescuemission.net.
