Democratic Attorney General candidate wants to legalize marijuana

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Democrat running for attorney general in Indiana is pitching legal weed as his last campaign effort. Jonathan Weinzapfel yesterday said marijuana should be legal in Indiana.

He said not only would legal marijuana provide tax money to the state, but it would also unburden local jails and local courts.

Weinzapfel says legal marijuana has been worth $35 million dollars in Michigan and $100 million dollars in Illinois.
