(ADAMS) – 20 police departments in central Indiana are giving out gift cards during some traffic stops.
The “No Ticket, Let’s Fix It” program provides officers will $25 gift cards to Jiffy Lube.
They can then hand the gift cards out to drivers who are pulled over for some vehicle violations, like a broken tail light.
The partnership started in 2021 and has since distributed hundreds of thousands of gift cards.
