INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Black activists are making their voices heard at the Indiana Statehouse.
The African American Coalition of Indianapolis organized a silent protest to raise awareness about bills impacting Hoosiers of color.
The protest was also in response to members of the Black Legislative Caucus being booed when discussing a House bill in February.
Demonstrators say they want to see more measures heard by lawmakers that would address racial inequities in Indiana.
