Allen County Sheriff: Blown stop sign caused deadly crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The sheriff in Fort Wayne says a driver blew through a stop sign and caused a wreck that left one woman dead and left five others seriously hurt. It happened Friday night on a county road just outside of Bluffton.

Deputies say a man driving a Chevy Malibu ran through a stop sign and smashed into an Oldsmobile. A woman passenger was killed.

Everyone else involved in the crash, including the Malibu’s driver, were taken to the hospital for serious injuries.
