FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Allen County Public Library branches are gearing up to open their door again to the general public.
On Monday, July 6, all locations will be open but they will be taking extra precautions to keep guests safe.
Masks will be required for all library staff. Anyone in the library over the age of two will also be required to wear a face covering.
Several other safety modifications such as hands-free technology and plexiglass at checkouts will be added.
The library will continue curbside pickup for those who don’t feel comfortable coming inside the branches.
And library-sponsored programs will not start up again until at least October 1st.
