Adams County orders almost no fans for high school sports

DECATUR, Ind. (ADAMS) – The crowd at football games in Adams County will be counted in the dozens this fall.

The county’s health officer, Michael Ainsworth, yesterday said seniors at the county’s high schools can have four people watch them this fall.

No one else will be allowed in the stands. That means no students, no other parents, and no one from the community.

The fan-ban applies to away games as well. Ainsworth says the limits are necessary to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
