INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – A Hoosier lawmaker is proposing changes to a law that bans doctors from prescribing puberty blockers and hormone therapy to transgender youth in the state.
Senate Enrolled Act 480 was passed by lawmakers last year. Representative Chris Campbell would like to remove “aiding and abetting” language in the law that prevents Indiana doctors from talking to doctors out of state about care for trans youth. Campbell announced the proposed change on Tuesday.
