SOUTH BEND, Ind. (ADAMS) – General Motors has received the approval of the St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners for its electric vehicle battery plant in partnership with Samsung.
The plant will be built in New Carlisle and will be larger than what was approved last year. GM had been teaming with LG for the plant but has switched to Samsung for the three-million-square-foot facility.
The average pay will be $ 24 dollars an hour.
